FAQ

How do I play?

Tap to fire when your reticle crosses the target color circles. Each level gives you a limited number of shots, so every tap matters.

What happens when I fail a level?

A modal offers: Watch Ad (+2 shots) (primary), Retry (secondary), and Quit (link-style). Ads are optional.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone, iPad, and Android. The UI scales for phones and tablets.

Do you collect personal data?

We minimize data collection. Ads are delivered via Google AdMob in non-personalized (contextual) mode only. See Privacy Policy.

Region & Age Restrictions: The Dot Shot is not available to residents of the European Union (EU) and is intended for players 13+ only.

Overview

The Dot Shot is a tap-to-shoot arcade game for iOS and Android. We don’t run user accounts and we collect minimal data necessary to operate and improve the game.

Information We Collect

Advertising data (via Google AdMob) — All ad requests are made in non-personalized (contextual) mode (we set the npa=1 flag and disable personalization via publisher privacy settings).
Diagnostics — Crash logs and performance data to improve stability.
Gameplay state — Progress/settings saved locally on your device.

How We Use Information

Operate and support the game experience.
Deliver, cap frequency of, and measure contextual ads (non-personalized AdMob).
Analyze crashes and performance to improve stability.

Tracking

The Dot Shot does not track users across apps or websites for advertising purposes. We do not link user/device data with third-party data for ad personalization, and we do not present Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt because tracking is disabled.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Limited data is shared with Google AdMob and its ad technology partners solely to deliver and measure non-personalized (contextual) ads.

Children

The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us to request deletion.

Your Choices

Manage platform ad settings on your device (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Google Settings → Ads) and via adssettings.google.com.
Uninstall the game to stop data collection entirely.

International

The game is not available in the EU. In other regions, data may be processed by service providers (including Google) in countries outside your own, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Data Retention

Diagnostics are retained only as long as needed. Progress stays on device until you delete the game. Ad data is retained by Google per their policies.

Terms of Service

Region & Age Restrictions: You must be at least 13 years old and not located in the EU to use The Dot Shot.

Agreement

By downloading or using The Dot Shot (the “Game”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

Eligibility

13+ only.
Not available to residents of the European Union (EU).
Platforms: iOS and Android.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Game on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the applicable store’s terms.

Gameplay & Monetization

Tap-to-shoot at target color circles with limited shots per level.
On failure, you may retry or watch an optional rewarded ad for +2 shots.
Ads are served via Google AdMob in non-personalized (contextual) mode only; interstitials may appear between segments.

Purchases

If in-app purchases are introduced in the future, billing will be handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Refunds follow the respective store policies and applicable law.

User Conduct

You agree not to reverse engineer or modify the Game; use cheats, bots, or exploits; interfere with services; or violate laws or third-party rights.

Ownership

The Game (including code, art, and trademarks) is owned by its developer(s). All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without obligation.

Disclaimer

The Game is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Game.

Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the Game, or your access to it, at any time. Upon termination, your license ends immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of District of Columbia/United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in District of Columbia.
